After Jeon Dong-min discovers Kim Young-ran's secret, he promises to keep it, but she responds coldly, demanding a price. Kim Young-ran has been surrounded by people who sought to exploit her weaknesses rather than protect them. However, Jeon Dong-min's genuine concern for her complicates her feelings.

Feeling unstable like strawberries in a greenhouse, Kim Young-ran begins to follow Jeon Dong-min, keeping a close watch on him. She also tries to win over his only weakness, his son Jeon Joo-won (played by Yang Woo-hyuk), while continuing her role as teacher Busemi.

The situation takes a sudden turn when Kang Sung-tae (played by Yoon Dae-yeol), the village's public enemy, appears. He installs barbed wire on the kindergarten site and files a trespassing complaint against Busemi and Jeon Dong-min, leading them to the police station. If Busemi's identity is checked, her disguised identity could be exposed, creating a tense atmosphere.

With the help of lawyer Lee Don (played by Seo Hyun-woo), the situation is temporarily resolved, but a greater threat looms. Ga Sung-woo (played by Lee Chang-min), the heir of Ga-sung Group, tracks down Kim Young-ran's location through Lee Don. Ga Sung-woo's malicious actions, attacking even harmless villagers to find Kim Young-ran, incite anger.

Jeon Dong-min, who tries to protect Kim Young-ran, gets injured by Ga Sung-woo's gang, deepening her sense of debt. Realizing that the villagers could be endangered because of her, Kim Young-ran decides to leave the village, overwhelmed by guilt.

Hearing her story, Jeon Dong-min takes her to a beautiful seaside location. The calming sound of waves and the open scenery soothe Kim Young-ran, as Jeon Dong-min promises, "I'll protect you, no matter what," making viewers' hearts flutter.

For the first time, Kim Young-ran hears someone promise to protect her, and her eyes begin to waver, creating a subtle atmosphere between them. It remains to be seen whether Jeon Dong-min's promise is genuine and how Kim Young-ran will react to this new feeling in her no-romance life.

Meanwhile, Kim Young-ran's greatest adversary, Ga Sun-young (played by Jang Yoon-ju), meets her mother, Kim So-young (played by So Hee-jung), the biggest villain in Kim Young-ran's life, causing shock. As the two embodiments of greed gather, anxiety intensifies, and attention focuses on how their meeting will impact Kim Young-ran's life reset project.
