Shocking Revelations Unfold in MBN's 'First Lady' as Secrets Come to Light
Ji Hyun-woo is left in shock as he uncovers a massive secret hidden by Eugene, who learns about Han Soo-ah's pregnancy.

The sixth episode of MBN's Wednesday-Thursday miniseries 'First Lady,' aired on the 9th, recorded a nationwide viewership rating of 1.8%, with peak ratings reaching 2%, according to Nielsen Korea.

Cha Soo-yeon (played by Eugene) is caught in a dilemma regarding her divorce lawsuit with Hyun Min-chul (played by Ji Hyun-woo) after Kang Sun-ho (played by Kang Seung-ho) emphasizes the importance of evidence to prove the defendant's infidelity. Watching the news about H Group Chairman Yang Hoon's (played by Lee Si-kang) arrest warrant request, Cha Soo-yeon deduces that Yang is keeping Lee Hwa-jin (played by Han Soo-ah) to avoid arrest. She requests a meeting with First Lady Park Sang-hee (played by Baek Ji-won), the wife of President Yoo Jin-myung (played by Lee Jong-hyuk), who ordered the investigation into Yang's illegal succession. Despite enduring harsh treatment at the 'Hae-sal-hui' volunteer activity site, Cha Soo-yeon meets Park Sang-hee and discreetly hands over a recording tape labeled 'Yoo Jin-myung 2012. 4. 4,' unsettling Park Sang-hee.

Hyun Min-chul suffers a blow to his approval ratings as Cha Soo-yeon wins back the hearts of the 'Iron Lady' fan club members with a knee apology. Following Shin Hae-rin's (played by Lee Min-young) instructions, Lee Beom-seok (played by Lee Myung-hoon) suggests that Hyun Min-chul accompany the President on a flood site visit. President Yoo Jin-myung is pleased to hear that Hyun Min-chul has been waiting for an hour to join the visit, but Park Sang-hee sternly advises against it, leaving him in a bind.

When Park Sang-hee urges Yoo Jin-myung to halt the investigation into Chairman Yang, he retorts, "I need to do something to avoid worrying about going to jail after retirement." However, Park Sang-hee hands over the recording tape brought by Cha Soo-yeon, making Yoo Jin-myung uneasy.

The scene where Cha Soo-yeon plays a recording tape from five years ago, revealing Yoo Jin-myung's attempt to cover up the H Chemical fire incident with Cha Jin-taek (played by Jeon No-min), draws attention. Park Sang-hee warns, "She's a dangerous child. You can't keep her as a friend, but you must never make her an enemy." Yoo Jin-myung claims he initiated the investigation into Chairman Yang to protect Cha Soo-yeon, but Park Sang-hee asserts, "The one who can guarantee our safety is not the President-elect, but that child," proving Cha Soo-yeon's influence.

Hyun Min-chul is shocked to learn the truth about Cha Soo-yeon through a private meeting with Park Sang-hee. He is dismayed to discover that Cha Soo-yeon was the one blocking the special law, asking, "Was it my wife who was blocking the special law all this time?" Park Sang-hee retorts, "Did you decide to divorce to protect Soo-yeon? You can't protect both Soo-yeon and the special law." Enraged, Hyun Min-chul calls Cha Soo-yeon, demanding, "What deal did you make with President Yoo five years ago?" Cha Soo-yeon firmly replies, "Have you made your choice? Me or Do Tae-hoon? I've already made mine," leaving Hyun Min-chul in turmoil.

Meanwhile, Shin Hae-rin learns from Lee Beom-seok that Kang Sun-ho, the lawyer representing Cha Soo-yeon, is a bereaved family member who lost both parents in the H Chemical fire, raising suspicions about his intentions. Shin Hae-rin recalls a conversation with Cha Soo-yeon during the H Chemical fire incident, where Cha Soo-yeon instructed to shift the blame onto the missing Do Tae-hoon (played by Kim Han), saying, "If you stay silent, that person will take all the blame." When Lee Beom-seok asks, "Are you saying the madam manipulated public opinion on the fire incident?" Shin Hae-rin feigns ignorance, stating, "There's no evidence. It's just Yoon Ki-joo's one-sided claim," but ominously adds, "These secrets have accumulated to make the President-elect." Shin Hae-rin focuses on Cha Soo-yeon's affair scandal with Hyun Min-chul, noting, "Ultimately, it depends on Lee Hwa-jin's mouth," and sets out to meet Lee Hwa-jin.

Hyun Min-chul discovers Park Chan-do (played by Ryu Kyung-hwan), who planted a bug on him at Cha Soo-yeon's request, and is puzzled to learn that he was being bugged not just after marriage but since five years ago. Hyun Min-chul asks Park Chan-do, "I've lived with her for 20 years, but I feel like I didn't know her at all. Please find out what deal she made with President Yoo five years ago," heightening the tension.

Meanwhile, as planned by Cha Soo-yeon, Yang Hoon's arrest warrant is dismissed, and she confronts Yang at a villa. Cha Soo-yeon coldly asks, "Why are you keeping Lee Hwa-jin?" Yang provocatively reveals Lee Hwa-jin's pregnancy, saying he brought her because Cha Soo-yeon was desperately looking for her. The 'shocking ending' leaves viewers in suspense as Cha Soo-yeon freezes, asking, "Pregnant? Is it really his child?" foreshadowing upcoming turmoil and catastrophe.
