Actor Bong Tae-gyu has opened up about the reasons behind his replacement in just five months.

MBC's 'Radio Star' (planned by Kang Young-sun / directed by Hwang Yoon-sang, Byun Da-hee) will feature a special episode titled 'Precious Eun's Kids' with Bong Tae-gyu, Ok Ja-yeon, Song Eun-i, Park So-ra, and Hwang Jung-hye.

In particular, he opened a second chapter of his career by perfectly portraying the psychopathic villain Kim Hak-beom in the 2018 drama 'Return', earning the SBS Drama Awards Character Acting Award and proving his acting prowess. He continues to showcase various facets on both the big and small screens, earning the reputation of being an actor with his own unique color.

Bong Tae-gyu revealed that his role as the villain Kim Hak-beom in 'Return' was his first villain role, leaving a strong impression. He shared that one of the iconic villain scenes from 'Return', still talked about today, was actually his idea on the day of filming.

He also piqued curiosity by admitting, "The thing I regret the most is leaving 'Nonstop' too early." Despite gaining a hit song by singing Yoon Jong-shin's 'A New Me' in the drama, he still regrets his decision to leave.

Additionally, he disclosed behind-the-scenes details, saying, "If Lee Kyung-kyu has 'Revenge Battle', I have 'Garoojigi'." He revealed that the role of Byun Gang-soe in 'Garoojigi' was initially offered to Tablo.

Bong Tae-gyu also candidly shared the background of his move to the agency led by Song Eun-i, saying, "I thought it would be fun to work with her," revealing a special connection with the agency that brought laughter. He also sparked curiosity by sharing the story of being replaced in just five months on an MBC late-night radio program.
