Choi Woo-shik and Jung So-min Star in New SBS Drama 'Would You Marry Me'

Actor Choi Woo-shik is set to tie the knot with actress Jung So-min in the upcoming SBS drama 'Would You Marry Me'.

Premiering on October 10, 'Would You Marry Me' is a new Friday-Saturday drama that follows the story of Kim Uju (played by Choi Woo-shik) and Yoo Mary (played by Jung So-min) as they embark on a fake marriage to win a luxurious newlywed home.

On September 30, the production team of 'Would You Marry Me' released a written interview with Choi Woo-shik. When asked why he chose this project, he stated, "I was curious about how the story of Uju and Mary would unfold. Working with director Song Hyun-wook and actress Jung So-min was also something I greatly anticipated."

Choi Woo-shik rated his chemistry with Jung So-min as "a perfect score of 100." He expressed, "The most meaningful part of working on 'Would You Marry Me' was getting to know actress Jung So-min. Her ability to perform any scene with ease taught me a lot as a fellow actor."

Choi Woo-shik highlighted the first meeting scene between Uju and Mary as the most memorable. He remarked, "In reality, such a meeting might not be beautiful, but it was a powerful scene that left a lasting impression. I hope viewers will look forward to the beginning of Uju and Mary's inseparable journey."

Describing his character, Kim Uju, Choi Woo-shik said, "He is someone who grew up without much love, making him quite lonely. Outwardly, he may seem indifferent, but he is sincere and deeply loves Mary, believing in destiny."
