Jang Yoon-ju Takes on Her First Villain Role in 'Good Girl, Boo Se-mi'

Actress Jang Yoon-ju returns to the screen in her first-ever villain role.

Premiering today (29th), the Genie TV original series 'Good Girl, Boo Se-mi' showcases Jang Yoon-ju in a dramatic transformation.

The series 'Good Girl, Boo Se-mi' is a crime romance drama about a woman from a humble background who enters a contract marriage with a terminally ill billionaire chairman, dreaming of a life reset. With only three months left, she must change her identity and survive against those who covet the vast inheritance.

Jang Yoon-ju plays Ga Sun-young, the stepdaughter of Chairman Ga Sung-ho (played by Moon Sung-geun) and a professor in the theater and film department. Ga Sun-young is a cold-hearted psychopath skilled in image-making, using money and power to get what she wants while disregarding others' emotions.

In the photos released ahead of the premiere, Jang Yoon-ju dons a glamorous yet restrained black outfit, perfectly embodying her character from a wealthy family. Her cold expression and commanding aura captivate viewers, while her intense gaze in a still holding a bouquet adds to the anticipation for her powerful performance.

Jang Yoon-ju's bold acting transformation in 'Good Girl, Boo Se-mi' premieres tonight (29th) at 10 PM on channel ENA. The series will be exclusively available for free VOD on KT Genie TV right after the broadcast every Monday and Tuesday at 10 PM, and it will also be available on the OTT platform TVING.
