Tension Peaks in 'A Hundred Memories' as Shocking Ending Hints at Tragic Accident

The latest episode of JTBC's weekend drama 'A Hundred Memories' (directed by Kim Sang-ho, written by Yang Hee-seung & Kim Bo-ram) aired on the 27th, delivering a tension-filled ending that hinted at a tragic accident involving Kim Da-mi's character.

The episode opened with Seo Jong-hee (played by Shin Ye-eun) dealing with the aftermath of her secret being exposed to Han Jae-pil (played by Heo Nam-jun). Despite a seemingly perfect day, Jong-hee's encounter with Jae-pil at the bus stop turned her day upside down, as she realized her feelings for him.

Jong-hee confided in Go Young-rye (played by Kim Da-mi), expressing her struggles with life. Meanwhile, Jae-pil, determined to support Jong-hee regardless of her circumstances, visited her workplace early in the morning. However, Jong-hee asked him not to return, leaving Young-rye to mediate between them.

Jong-hee's situation worsened when her violent brother, Seo Jong-nam (played by Jung Jae-kwang), appeared at her workplace. Young-rye managed to protect Jong-hee by lying to Jong-nam, allowing Jong-hee to escape. Young-rye's brother, Go Young-sik (played by Jeon Sung-woo), advised Jong-hee to face her problems head-on, prompting her to return to her dormitory with renewed courage.

However, Jong-hee's fear resurfaced when Jong-nam confronted her again. Young-rye came to her rescue, helping her escape on a bus. The situation escalated when Jong-nam chased them on a stolen motorcycle, leading to a confrontation witnessed by Jae-pil. He intervened, resulting in a scuffle that ended with everyone being taken to the police station.

Jong-nam, wanted for various crimes, was eventually detained, freeing Jong-hee from his threat. Despite this, Jong-hee felt humiliated by Jae-pil's knowledge of her struggles. Jae-pil, however, expressed his desire to remain by her side as a friend.

After a night school exam, Young-rye and Jong-hee went on an outing with Jae-pil and their friend Ma Sang-chul (played by Lee Won-jung). A sudden rainstorm left Young-rye alone with Jae-pil, stirring her emotions as a familiar song played on the radio.

Young-rye imagined a romantic scenario with Jae-pil, reflecting on her unspoken feelings. She resolved to end her one-sided love, bidding farewell to her first love.

The episode concluded with a shocking twist. Young-rye, covering a shift, found herself in a precarious situation on a crowded bus. At the same time, Jong-hee discovered a clue about Young-rye's secret crush, realizing it was Jae-pil. The episode ended with a distressing scene of a bus accident, leaving viewers on edge.
