Hwang In-yeop and Lee Hye-ri Unite for Upcoming Romantic Comedy 'Dream to You'

Hwang In-yeop and Lee Hye-ri have formed a dream team.

Set to premiere in 2026, the Genie TV original drama 'Dream to You' is a romantic comedy that tells the story of a reunion between genius film director Woo Soo-bin (played by Hwang In-yeop), who returns after achieving his dreams, and Ju I-jae (played by Lee Hye-ri), a reporter who has forgotten her dreams. The series explores the unfinished film they once dreamed of making and the love story that remains unwritten, offering a delightful and relatable narrative for young adults.

The collaboration between Hwang In-yeop and Lee Hye-ri, both of whom have proven their global popularity and appeal, has already garnered significant attention from fans worldwide. Directed by Yoo Seon-dong, known for hits like 'Trigger' and 'The Uncanny Counter 1,2', and written by Jung Eun-bi, who contributed to 'Doom at Your Service', 'Mr. Sunshine', and 'Goblin', the drama promises to be a highly anticipated project.

Hwang In-yeop takes on the role of Woo Soo-bin, a brilliant film director who returns to Korea to pursue his true dream of reuniting with Ju I-jae. Having lived in a world designed by his parents during his teenage years, Woo Soo-bin breaks free and achieves his dream of becoming a successful director, with his debut feature film sweeping international film festivals.

For Woo Soo-bin, 'dream' means love, but for Ju I-jae, it signifies tragedy. The news of Woo Soo-bin, who left when they were nineteen, reignites the dreams she had buried.

Lee Hye-ri shared her enthusiasm, stating, "I believe I can show various sides of myself through 'Ju I-jae'. I'm preparing with excitement, so please look forward to it." Her return to romantic comedy is highly anticipated, with expectations higher than ever.

'Dream to You' will premiere on channel ENA in 2026 and will be exclusively available as free VOD on KT Genie TV.
