New tvN Drama 'Typhoon Family' Unveils Growth Poster and Teaser Featuring Lee Junho

Directed by Lee Na-jung and Kim Dong-hwi, and written by Jang Hyun, 'Typhoon Family' is produced by Studio Dragon, Imaginas, Studio PIC, and TriStudio. The series is set during the 1997 IMF crisis and follows the journey of 'Kang Tae-pung' (played by Lee Junho), a novice businessman who unexpectedly becomes the president of a struggling trading company with no employees, money, or products to sell. Despite the world seemingly coming to an end due to the crisis, the drama portrays the heartwarming survival stories of ordinary people who continue to persevere, offering comfort and courage to those facing difficult times today.
In the released poster, Kang Tae-pung is seen sitting among a pile of cargo, holding fabric dearly and smiling brightly. The caption, "It's okay to have expectations. I didn't start this just for myself," highlights his determination to protect not just himself but everyone around him. From a carefree youth to a novice company president overnight, Kang Tae-pung's resolve to face challenges head-on promises to deliver a powerful message to viewers.

These trials lead to growth. As Kang Tae-pung interacts with and learns from Typhoon Trading employees, he gradually becomes the company's backbone, embodying the spirit of action and determination. His declaration, "I'll do anything for the company," and his willingness to throw himself into challenges for everyone's survival, especially a scene where he desperately stops a moving cargo truck, encapsulate his unwavering responsibility and the spirit of solidarity in overcoming crises together.

tvN's new weekend drama 'Typhoon Family' premieres on Saturday, October 11th, at 9:10 PM.
