SBS's 'Would You Marry Me': Choi Woo-shik and Jung So-min to Star as a Pretend Married Couple

SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Would You Marry Me' (directed by Song Hyun-wook, Hwang In-hyuk / written by Lee Ha-na / produced by Samhwa Networks, Studio S) is set to premiere, featuring Choi Woo-shik and Jung So-min as a pretend married couple. The drama revolves around a 90-day fake honeymoon period as the two characters strive to win a luxurious newlywed home.

Choi Woo-shik takes on the role of Kim Woo-joo, the flawless heir and fourth-generation only son of Korea's first bakery, Myungsundang. This role marks a significant transformation in his acting career. Meanwhile, Jung So-min plays Yoo Mary, the CEO of Mary Design, who faces life's challenges head-on after a broken engagement and a rental scam. Her portrayal promises to deliver the essence of a lovely romantic comedy.

On the 11th, the production team released the first teaser video, showcasing the spectacular meeting of Kim Woo-joo (Choi Woo-shik) and Yoo Mary (Jung So-min) as they become a pretend couple. The teaser opens with Mary, known for her candidness, speaking her mind during a presentation. After discovering her fiancé's (Seo Bum-jun) infidelity, a drunken Mary fatefully encounters Woo-joo, who shares the same name as her ex-fiancé, capturing viewers' attention.

Mary's unexpected proposal, "Will you be my husband?" leads to a wedding photo shoot with Woo-joo, sparking excitement for their upcoming pretend married life. In the photos, Woo-joo, in a tuxedo, embraces Mary by the waist, while Mary, in a wedding dress, leans on Woo-joo's shoulder, exuding the chemistry of a real newlywed couple. Despite their promise to keep it a secret, their frequent affectionate gestures create a thrilling tension.

The chemistry between Woo-joo and Mary is electrifying as they strive to maintain their facade as a married couple. Woo-joo gently tucks Mary's hair behind her ear, and Mary responds with a natural smile, showcasing their seamless 'pretend couple' chemistry.
