Son Ye-jin Reveals Surprising Casting Experience in Park Chan-wook's New Film

On the 12th, during the 'Channel Fifteenya' content 'Na Young-seok's Waggle Waggle,' Son Ye-jin reflected on her first project after marriage, expressing her shock at the small size of her role.
She recounted, "While I was contemplating my comeback project, I received a call from Min-jung. She said, '(Lee) Byung-hun oppa is working with director Park Chan-wook and wants to give you the script,' which made me excited with anticipation."
However, Son Ye-jin added, "When I received the script, I wondered, 'What role am I playing?' I was surprised by how small my part was." She humorously mentioned, "So, I jokingly threatened director Park Chan-wook."

Meanwhile, Park Chan-wook's new film, 'No Choice,' is based on Donald E. Westlake's 1997 novel 'The Axe.' It tells the story of Mansu, a satisfied office worker who suddenly gets laid off and embarks on a journey to protect his wife Miri and two children by seeking reemployment. The film stars Lee Byung-hun, Son Ye-jin, Lee Sung-min, Yum Hye-ran, and Park Hwi-soon, and is set to release on September 24th.
