Rising Star Kim Min-kyu Captivates Hong Seok-cheon with His Charisma

Kim Min-kyu has captured the heart of Hong Seok-cheon.

On the YouTube channel 'Hong Seok-cheon's Jewel Box,' a video titled 'A Visual Gem Harder to Find than a Rare Couple: Kim Min-kyu' was uploaded.

In the video, when asked about his most confident feature, Kim Min-kyu pointed to his eyelashes. He said, "I think it's because my eyelashes are long." Listening to this, Kim Dol-dol joked, "I think you could confess with a pencil lead," suggesting that a pencil lead could rest on his eyelashes.

Kim Min-kyu also shared his ideal type, saying, "I like someone who is fun to be with and makes time fly by," adding, "After all, you have to spend your life with them." When asked when he realized he was handsome, he humbly replied, "I've just grown up like this. I don't really think I'm handsome, but I've been feeling the popularity recently."

Reflecting on his school days, Kim Min-kyu said, "Actually, my friend who hung out with me was very handsome, so he was more popular." He added, "I was quite ambitious during school, so I tried a lot of things," mentioning his involvement in the band, student council, and newspaper club.

Hong Seok-cheon asked, "I heard you winked at teachers during class. Why did you do that?" Kim Min-kyu explained, "It was just a playful thing among the boys. It became a habit, and once, while joking with a friendly teacher, we both made eye contact and burst into laughter."

Regarding his debut in the entertainment industry, Kim Min-kyu shared, "I wasn't unfamiliar with the stage due to my band experience, but the band was disbanded later. I found acting interesting after watching a play, so I joined an acting academy. Three months later, I auditioned and got the role." He revealed that his debut role was Cheon Nam-wook in the web drama 'Pop Out Boy!'
