Heechul and Lee Mi-joo Spark Romance Rumors on 'Knowing Bros'

The latest episode of JTBC's variety show 'Knowing Bros' featured a special appearance by musical actors Lee Seok-hoon and Kim Ho-young, along with singers Lee Mi-joo and Heo Young-ji.

During the episode, Heechul addressed the marriage rumors with Lee Mi-joo that surfaced on '20th Century Hit Song.' He asked, "Your mother must have seen the show. What does she think of me?"

Lee Mi-joo responded, "This is going to make headlines again," and shared, "I talked to my mom about it. She asked if there was anything going on, and I said no. But she said, 'I think Heechul is nice.'"

In a humorous twist, Heechul suddenly bowed deeply to the camera, addressing Lee Mi-joo's mother as 'mother-in-law.' Lee Mi-joo joined in with a playful bow, adding to the laughter.

Lee Soo-geun joked, "Isn't it your mother who said she liked him?" to which Lee Mi-joo replied, "I'll ask her again," causing more laughter.

Meanwhile, it was revealed that Lee Mi-joo had declined Kim Young-chul's invitation to drink together at a hotel lobby in Los Angeles. Kim Young-chul questioned, "Why did you refuse when the staff was there too?" Lee Mi-joo humorously shouted, "I just didn't want to drink with you!"

The episode also highlighted the friendship among the '94-liners.' Heo Young-ji shared her first encounter with Lee Mi-joo, saying, "She was a fan asking for a photo, and now she's so cheeky." Lee Mi-joo playfully retorted with a curse, showcasing their close bond.

The two friends bickered over different memories, revealing that they currently split bills. Lee Mi-joo recalled, "At our first meeting, I offered to pay after drinking. I'm the type to open my wallet when I drink." She added, "The bill was just under 1 million won, and Seulgi (Red Velvet) and Hyojung (Oh My Girl) suggested splitting it. But Young-ji said, 'Why split when she's paying?'" Eventually, they decided to split the bill.

Despite their banter, Lee Mi-joo and Heo Young-ji expressed their willingness to lend each other money, even up to 100 million won. Lee Mi-joo joked, "But you have to leave a fingerprint," to which Lee Sang-min humorously advised, "A fingerprint isn't enough. You need a promissory note with a payment date."
