Choi Woo-shik Transforms into Heir of Korea's First Bakery in New SBS Drama 'Would You Marry Me'

Premiering in October, 'Would You Marry Me' is a romantic comedy about a 90-day fake marriage between two individuals vying for a luxurious newlywed home. The drama stars the beloved actor Choi Woo-shik and the undefeated rom-com queen Jung So-min, promising a delightful romantic synergy.
Choi Woo-shik will portray Kim Woo-joo, the only son of the 80-year-old bakery Myungsoondang and a promising marketing team leader. Born with a 'bread spoon' in his mouth, Kim Woo-joo is the perfect heir with no flaws. He becomes entangled in a business relationship with Yoo Merry, played by Jung So-min, the CEO of 'Merry Design', leading to an unexpected fake marriage.

Captured at the airport, Kim Woo-joo waits to board his flight back home after a long stay abroad. Despite the excitement of returning home, his expression reveals a sense of contemplation. His chic demeanor and sharp gaze highlight his cold and rational side.
In another still, Kim Woo-joo is seen leading a meeting as the marketing team leader of Myungsoondang. Known for his skills even in the U.S., he exudes competence from the moment he takes on the role, rolling up his sleeves and focusing intently on the meeting with his team.
Choi Woo-shik, known for his sunny charm in various romantic comedies, is set to showcase a new side as the perfect adult male. As anticipation builds for his transformation into the rational and meticulous Kim Woo-joo, curiosity also grows about how he ends up as Yoo Merry's fake husband.
The production team stated, "Through 'Would You Marry Me', viewers will see a new side of Choi Woo-shik. We hope you look forward to the irresistible charm of the 'bread spoon' and the drama 'Would You Marry Me'."
'Would You Marry Me' is set to premiere next month on SBS.
