Actor Kim Yo-han Reflects on Working with Yoon Kye-sang in 'The Winning Try'
Actor Kim Yo-han fondly recalled working with fellow actor Yoon Kye-sang on the drama 'The Winning Try', humorously noting, "Sometimes I think of Zhāng Qiān."

On the 28th of last month, Kim Yo-han, who stars in the SBS drama 'The Winning Try' (hereafter 'Try'), was interviewed at a café in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam, Seoul.

'Try' is a comedic sports drama about the unpredictable and eccentric coach Joo Ga-ram (played by Yoon Kye-sang) and the last-place Hanyang High School rugby team striving for victory at the national sports festival. Kim Yo-han plays the role of Yoon Sung-joon, the captain of the rugby team, delivering a passionate performance.

Regarding his chemistry with Yoon Kye-sang, Kim Yo-han said, "It was great," but added, "Sometimes I was reminded of his role as the villain Zhāng Qiān in the movie 'The Outlaws'." He continued, "There was a scene where he shouted 'Yoon Sung-joon, answer me!' and it was a bit intimidating," he laughed.

When asked if he felt any pressure playing a rugby player, Kim Yo-han admitted, "Honestly, a little." He explained, "Rugby is not a popular sport, so it was unfamiliar to me as well. I learned about rugby through this project and found it to be a very charming sport."

Finally, Kim Yo-han encouraged viewers who haven't seen 'Try' yet, describing it as "a refreshing drama like a sip of soda." He added, "It's the first drama in Korea to feature rugby, but it's not just about rugby. It also portrays the growth of youth and adults," he said with a smile.
