The new reality show 'Overindulgence Club' is set to premiere on Wednesday evenings, joining the lineup alongside popular shows 'I Am Solo' and 'Radio Star'. The show's host, Tak Jae-hoon, expressed confidence in its success, stating, "I believe we'll receive a great response. We'll showcase everything within the six episodes."

On November 2, a press conference for 'Overindulgence Club' was held at the TV Chosun studio in Gasan-dong, Seoul. Attendees included host Tak Jae-hoon, Mimi Minoo, actress Chae Jung-an, singer Yunho, Leeteuk, and producer Kim Hana. Tak Jae-hoon shared his reasons for joining the show, saying, "As someone who believes anyone can become deeply immersed in something, I found the show's theme very appealing. During filming, I realized, 'Even though it's my first time, I can get this involved.' It was an opportunity to learn more about myself."

When asked about his thoughts on observing others' deeply immersed lives, Tak Jae-hoon commented, "Everyone is unique." He added, "Recently, I watched the daily lives of Yunho, Kim Yong-bin, and Cheon Rok-dam. I thought, 'That's what they do in their free time.' Even though it wasn't my life, I found myself getting absorbed, and I thought I should try something like that when I have time."

Tak Jae-hoon confidently stated, "The chemistry among the cast was so good during the first recording that I thought, 'We'll definitely get a good response.' Since 'Overindulgence Club' is only scheduled for six episodes, everything has to be decided within that time. We'll show everything within those six episodes."

Actress Chae Jung-an, who joined the show to find answers about her own passions, said, "I've been living a busy life, thinking I couldn't immerse myself in anything. Through this filming, I learned a lot by watching the passionate daily lives of the cast."

Chae Jung-an mentioned Yunho's lifestyle, saying, "I thought he should take a break," with a laugh. She added, "Watching Yunho's energy from morning until night, I thought it must be tough, but at the same time, I thought, 'That's cool. I want to live like that too.'"

Yunho explained his reason for joining the show, saying, "The word 'overindulgence' caught my attention. I believe everyone has their own values, and this show presents them as they are. I found it more attractive because you can glimpse individual values."

When asked what he's currently overindulged in, Yunho replied, "I'm interested in rebranding myself." He continued, "In the past, I was focused on stage, lighting, and directing as an idol. But now, I feel I've exhausted the image I can show as an idol. I want to show something new."

Leeteuk shared, "I worked on a TV Chosun program 8-9 years ago. I hadn't had the opportunity since, so I'm grateful for this chance. There are many clubs like health clubs and nightclubs, but I think 'Overindulgence Club' will be the most wholesome and beneficial club."

He expressed his hope that "'Overindulgence Club' will have a positive impact on viewers," adding, "These days, there's a tendency to follow trends, but I hope our program makes people think, 'It's okay to indulge in my own preferences.'"

Producer Kim Hana explained the show's concept, saying, "The word 'overindulgence' implies excessive immersion, but to me, it has a positive meaning. When you immerse yourself in life, good energy is released. I thought that energy was so good that I wanted to share it with viewers."

Kim PD added, "Throughout filming, there were many moments when I thought, 'I didn't know this person had this side.' I hope viewers can also feel the charm and values of each cast member."

'Overindulgence Club' premieres on November 3 at 10 PM.
