Lee Na-young, Jung Eun-chae, and Lee Chung-ah to Star in New Legal Drama 'Honor'

The original Genie TV drama 'Honor' has confirmed its cast, featuring actors Lee Na-young, Jung Eun-chae, and Lee Chung-ah. Notably, Lee Na-young, who married actor Won Bin in 2015, will take on her first role as a lawyer.

'Honor' is a mystery thriller that follows three female lawyers confronting a massive scandal from their past. Lee Na-young, Jung Eun-chae, and Lee Chung-ah play longtime friends who met in college and now work as lawyers at L&J (Listen and Join), a firm specializing in representing female crime victims.

A secret from 20 years ago resurfaces, shaking their current lives, and they fiercely fight back, showcasing unbreakable solidarity and determination. The drama poses the heavy question, "Does the statute of limitations apply to revenge?" as they battle to protect their clients and their own honor.

Lee Na-young plays Yoon Ra-young, the star lawyer of L&J, known for her eloquence and stunning appearance. She is a celebrity lawyer with tens of thousands of social media followers, serving as the firm's public 'messenger.' However, beneath her glamorous exterior lies hidden wounds and insecurities. She unexpectedly confronts shadows from her past.

Jung Eun-chae, known for her unique presence in each role, plays Kang Shin-jae, the head lawyer of L&J and the leader of the three friends. Shin-jae possesses a lion-like charisma that overwhelms anyone, skillfully navigating negotiations and threats to achieve her goals. She faces a crisis when a case involving female-targeted crimes intertwines with her past.

Lee Chung-ah is cast as Hwang Hyun-jin, the action-oriented lawyer of L&J. Known for her fiery personality, Hyun-jin prefers to be on the move rather than sitting at a desk, wearing out her sneakers' soles. She boldly resists anything she deems wrong, often being warned that strength alone can break. Her resilience is tested when her detective husband starts digging into her past.

The core of 'Honor' lies in the narrative of these three female lawyers, who have fiercely represented female crime victims, as they tenaciously confront cases intertwined with their past.

'Honor' is based on a Swedish drama of the same name. Directed by Park Geon-ho, known for his sharp insights and delicate touch in 'Good or Bad Dong-jae,' and written by Park Ga-yeon, recognized for her meticulous storytelling in 'Train,' the drama is set to premiere in the first half of 2026 on Genie TV and ENA.
