Kim Chang-yeol's Son, Kim Joo-hwan, Reveals Aspiration to Become an Actor on 'Four-Person Table'

The episode aired on the 1st, featuring Kim Chang-yeol, a singer who dominated the 90s music scene, along with guests Park Sun-joo, Sung Dae-hyun, and host Park Kyung-lim.
During the show, Kim Chang-yeol invited his close friends to a shared space with his son, serving them a hearty meal. He shared, "I've been hurt by food before. The term 'Chang-ryeol-like' became popular, meaning 'small portions', and I want to shake off that stigma."
Kim Chang-yeol, who faced multiple business failures in the past, confessed, "I was betrayed a lot while doing joint ventures. My negligence in managing due to my entertainment activities was the cause of my business failures. I only ended up benefiting others." He also mentioned that running a pub business with his younger brother was not easy.

Admitting he wasn't ready to be a father, he said, "I couldn't do anything as a father, husband, or breadwinner, and I was financially struggling. That's when I first thought I needed to earn money."
During Kim Chang-yeol's story, his 21-year-old son Kim Joo-hwan made a surprise appearance. A former student of Hyundai High School and currently on leave from Yonsei University's Korean Language and Literature department, he impressed with his 190cm height and striking looks.

Kim Chang-yeol, who was financially and emotionally drained after Joo-hwan's birth, shared, "I first appeared on a variety show in 2004 to earn money. I said I was there to earn diaper money on 'Challenge Golden Bell', and people liked it." He described Joo-hwan as a "lucky charm" that changed his life.
Kim Chang-yeol expressed his gratitude for the congratulatory calls he received when Joo-hwan was accepted into Yonsei University, saying, "I always said I didn't do anything for him, but my friends said that's the best thing I did." Despite this, he still felt guilty.

Meanwhile, Kim Joo-hwan, who previously studied acting and had minor roles, plans to pursue acting seriously after completing his military service. Park Sun-joo, who recently started an entertainment business, suggested, "Let's sign a contract with your aunt. Let's make a preliminary contract before you enlist," drawing attention.
