Comedian Yang Se-hyung's Frugal Lifestyle and Comedy Show Steal the Spotlight

Yang Se-hyung, who recently purchased a building worth approximately 10.9 billion KRW near Hongik University, showcased his frugal lifestyle, earning praise from Lee Young-ja, who remarked, "That's how you become a building owner."

On the October 30th episode of MBC's variety show 'The Manager,' the cheerful day of comedian Yang Se-hyung was featured.

Born in 1985 and currently single, Yang Se-hyung unveiled his new home for the first time. True to his minimalist lifestyle, the house boasted a clean interior, numerous books in every room, and a built-in wardrobe filled with notes reminiscent of actress Lee Se-hee's home.

Yang's disciplined routine added to the entertainment. His thrifty use of sunscreen and attempts to reuse wet wipes impressed Lee Young-ja, who commented, "That's how you become a building owner." Known for running up to 30km, he completed a light 5km run in the morning to maintain his fitness. Upon returning home, Yang meticulously measured various grains like millet, brown rice, and black beans to cook his meal, accompanied by 16 side dishes, adding intrigue to his healthy lifestyle.

The episode also showcased the first-ever brother comedy show 'Yang Se-bro Show,' which Yang Se-hyung wrote and planned over four months. The event was attended by 1,200 audience members, including special guests Lee Young-ja, Shin Ki-ru, and Shim Jin-hwa, filling the seats with friends of the Yang brothers. Lee Young-ja surprised the brothers with a gift, while Hong Hyun-hee, unable to attend, sent rice cakes, touching the audience.

Yang Se-hyung and Yang Se-chan, dressed in outfits sourced by stylist Byun Jin-soo from Gwangju, took the stage with a dazzling opening. Their energetic dance and interactive performance with the audience offered a unique experience. The show, presented to their mother for the first time, highlighted the brothers' deep filial piety, leaving a lasting impression.

According to Nielsen Korea, 'The Manager' episode 362 achieved a 1.7% viewership rating among the key demographic of 20-49, ranking first among all programs aired in the same time slot. A scene where Yang Se-hyung looked up the Chinese character for 'small and medium enterprises' in a newspaper reached a peak viewership of 4.8%, bringing laughter to viewers.
