Kim Hee-ae to Host 'Seoul Music Festival' as MC on 'Hangout with Yoo'

Renowned actress Kim Hee-ae has been selected as the MC for the 'Seoul Music Festival' on the popular MBC show 'Hangout with Yoo'.

On the episode aired on the 30th, hosts Yoo Jae-suk and Haha met with Kim Hee-ae, expressing admiration for her elegance. Yoo Jae-suk praised her, saying, "Regardless of the cost, you exude sophistication."

Kim Hee-ae shared her current lifestyle, splitting her time between Seoul and Jeju Island, and mentioned, "I'm trying to live happily."

Recently, Kim Hee-ae gained attention for sharing her freediving experiences on social media. She started last year, overcoming her fear of water, and described the underwater scenery as "exotic and laughter-inducing."

Reflecting on her past, Kim Hee-ae humorously admitted, "I can't even remember what I ate yesterday," when Yoo Jae-suk mentioned her 1980s persona.

Debuting at 19 in MBC's 'Bestseller Theater', Kim Hee-ae has had a prolific career, including hosting various music festivals. She candidly critiqued her past performances, saying, "I can't bear to listen to myself sing. I often change the channel."

Kim Hee-ae also shared her experience as a radio DJ for 'Kim Hee-ae's Popular Songs', where she took announcer lessons.

Despite her glamorous past in the 80s, she expressed no desire to return, citing a lack of balance in her life back then. She admires how people today maintain a balance between work and personal life.

After some hesitation, Kim Hee-ae accepted the offer to host the '80s Seoul Music Festival' with Yoo Jae-suk and Haha.

In a light-hearted moment, Haha complimented her youthful appearance, leading to a cheerful high-five. Yoo Jae-suk added, "My wife admires you and wants to be like you," sharing his wife's admiration for Kim Hee-ae.
