Go Woo-rim Opens Up About Married Life with Kim Yuna on 'Talk Pawon 25 Hours'

Go Woo-rim, a member of the vocal group Forestella, candidly shared insights into his marriage with figure skating legend Kim Yuna on the recent episode of JTBC's 'Talk Pawon 25 Hours' aired on the 25th.

During the show, Go Woo-rim was the subject of envy for many as the husband of Kim Yuna. Host Jeon Hyun-moo expressed his admiration, saying, "He's the only married man I'm jealous of," and praised Go for maintaining a beautiful marriage.

Now in his third year of marriage, Go acknowledged the envy of others, stating, "Many people are envious," and explained, "Due to my 18-month military service, it feels like our honeymoon phase has been extended." He added, "Both of us have stable emotions and calm personalities, which helps us maintain a newlywed-like atmosphere."

Recalling their first meeting, Go shared, "When I was 24, Forestella was invited to perform at an ice show. Initially, I didn't think about meeting her, but as we exchanged invitations and messages, feelings developed, leading to marriage."

When asked what caught Kim Yuna's attention, Go revealed, "She said she remembered my gaze because I was staring at her," smiling as he recounted the moment.

Despite their harmonious relationship, when asked if they ever fought, Go admitted, "We've never fought. It's more about aligning our patterns as a couple." He confessed that they had a minor disagreement over cleaning priorities when hosting guests—Kim prefers tidying the living room first, while he starts with the bedroom.

Go explained, "We have different priorities, but we're learning to adjust as partners." Comedian Kim Sook humorously sided with Kim Yuna, questioning, "Why not clean the living room first when guests are coming?" Go charmingly responded, "We've never fought, but it seems I got scolded," showcasing his endearing personality.

When asked if he ever serenaded Kim Yuna, Go replied, "She doesn't like cheesy gestures, so I've never done a musical event for her. I do sing humorous songs, though, and she often hears my voice at performances."

Go also shared that he enjoys taking photos of Kim Yuna during their travels, saying, "The way she poses is different, and it makes taking photos enjoyable."

He added, "When we travel, Kim Yuna usually chooses the accommodations. She's very organized, and by the time I think of doing it, it's already done. I just go along with it."

Go Woo-rim and Kim Yuna tied the knot in October 2022, with Kim being five years his senior.
