Yoo Jae-suk Shares Insight on Kim Jong-kook's Transformation Ahead of Marriage

Renowned TV personality Yoo Jae-suk recently shared insights into the transformation of singer Kim Jong-kook, who has announced his upcoming marriage.

On the October 19th episode of SBS's 'Whenever You Have Time,' actors Cha Tae-hyun and Jang Hyuk, members of the 'Dragon Club,' made a guest appearance.

While driving near Namsan, the group reminisced about their college days at Seoul Institute of the Arts. Cha Tae-hyun remarked, "My time at Seoul Institute of the Arts was the most fun," to which Yoo Jae-suk agreed, "I also had a great time during my school days. Coming here makes me feel at ease."

Jang Hyuk, originally from Busan, recalled, "When I came to Seoul in 1997, the first song I heard in Myeongdong was Jong-kook's." Cha Tae-hyun added, "He was the best back then," and Jang Hyuk hummed the tune. Yoo Jae-suk humorously imitated Kim Jong-kook's voice, saying, "For Jong-kook's voice, it's too deep," which brought laughter. Cha Tae-hyun praised Kim Jong-kook's enduring career, saying, "He's lasted through the ages."

Yoo Jae-suk continued, "These days, Jong-kook is almost like a 'gentle uncle.' He used to be so sharp," highlighting the changes in Kim Jong-kook as he prepares for marriage. Jang Hyuk reminisced about Kim Jong-kook's slimmer physique in the past.

Kim Jong-kook announced his marriage on October 18th. He shared the news with fans through a handwritten letter on his official fan cafe. The wedding, set for November 5th, will be a private ceremony with a non-celebrity.
