Kim Nam-joo Opens Up About Her Relationship Dynamics with Husband Kim Seung-woo

On October 18, a video titled 'Spicy Balance Game with a Gentle Actress vs. a Wild Horse' was uploaded to Kim Nam-joo's YouTube channel. The video featured actress Kim Ok-bin and makeup artist Su-kyung, who joined Kim Nam-joo in playing a balance game.
The first question posed was, 'Someone you love more vs. Someone who loves you more.' Kim Nam-joo responded, "I choose the latter, but I didn't marry that way." When Kim Ok-bin asked if she loved her husband more, Kim Nam-joo confessed, "I believe there are dominant and submissive roles in relationships. Kim Seung-woo is the dominant one, and I'm the submissive one."
Kim Nam-joo further explained, "People who see us recently might think I'm the dominant one. As men age, they realize they need their wives and reflect on their past neglect of family." She added with a laugh, "I think I liked him more because I thought he was better than me in looks and status. But these days, the roles have reversed."

A candid conversation between Kim Ok-bin and Kim Nam-joo followed. Kim Ok-bin asked, "You took a break for about 7 to 8 years after getting married. How did you feel during that time?" Kim Nam-joo recalled, "Watching award shows on TV, I wondered, 'Will I ever stand there again?' It was bittersweet. After having my youngest in 2008, I returned with the drama 'Queen of Housewives' in 2009 and won the Best Actress Award at MBC. I remember crying during my acceptance speech."

Kim Nam-joo humorously responded, "Why say there's no reward? Didn't you get paid? You earned a lot." She continued, "I believe the results aren't ours to own. High ratings make me happy, but poor results are disheartening. However, as the lead, I can't let myself get down, so I control my mindset, believing others' evaluations aren't important."
