Yoon Kyung-ho Shines as a Scene-Stealer in 'Zombie Daughter' and 'Critical Trauma Center'

Actor Yoon Kyung-ho is making waves this year with standout performances. Following his role in the Netflix series 'Critical Trauma Center', which topped the charts earlier this year, Yoon has captivated audiences again in the film 'Zombie Daughter', which surpassed 1.87 million viewers within just five days of its release. In 'Zombie Daughter', released on July 30, Yoon plays Jo Dong-bae, a rural pharmacist. The film tells the story of a devoted father, Jeong-hwan (played by Jo Jung-suk), who undergoes secret training to protect his daughter Soo-ah (played by Choi Yoo-ri), the last zombie on Earth. Dong-bae, unable to ignore Jeong-hwan's plight, joins him in training his zombie daughter, showcasing his loyalty as a friend.

Yoon's character provides both stern advice and unwavering support to Jeong-hwan, offering a charming contrast to his rugged appearance. His portrayal of Dong-bae, especially in a Thor cosplay scene, has been highlighted as one of the film's iconic moments. With a long blonde wig, muscular costume, and Thor's signature hammer, Yoon's 'Dong Thor' look elicits laughter from the audience. His natural comedic timing and heartfelt performance have significantly contributed to the film's success.

Yoon first gained attention earlier this year with his role in 'Critical Trauma Center', where he played Han Yu-rim, the head of the proctology department. His character evolves from a selfish antagonist to a supportive ally, showcasing Yoon's ability to portray complex characters.

Han Yu-rim, proud of his medical skills, initially disapproves of the 'parachute' doctor Baek Kang-hyuk (played by Ju Ji-hoon). However, after witnessing Baek's dedication in treating his daughter after a car accident, Han becomes his ally.
