Yoon Kyung-ho Shines as a Scene-Stealer in 'Zombie Daughter' and 'Critical Trauma Center'

Yoon's character provides both stern advice and unwavering support to Jeong-hwan, offering a charming contrast to his rugged appearance. His portrayal of Dong-bae, especially in a Thor cosplay scene, has been highlighted as one of the film's iconic moments. With a long blonde wig, muscular costume, and Thor's signature hammer, Yoon's 'Dong Thor' look elicits laughter from the audience. His natural comedic timing and heartfelt performance have significantly contributed to the film's success.

Han Yu-rim, proud of his medical skills, initially disapproves of the 'parachute' doctor Baek Kang-hyuk (played by Ju Ji-hoon). However, after witnessing Baek's dedication in treating his daughter after a car accident, Han becomes his ally. Yoon's portrayal of Han's multifaceted personality, from a bumbling villain to a loving father and eventual supporter, added depth to the series. His performance balanced humor and emotion, earning him affectionate nicknames like 'Hangblie' and 'Petite Yu-rim' from viewers.

This year, Yoon has received much love for both 'Critical Trauma Center' and 'Zombie Daughter'. In a recent interview with TenAsia, Yoon humbly acknowledged his rising popularity, saying, "Even before I got the nickname 'Hangblie', I believed I contributed significantly to my projects. But honestly, with 'Zombie Daughter', I think my contribution is reflected in the ticket sales. I feel proud." His genuine and approachable charm is why audiences adore him. With 'Zombie Daughter' drawing 1.87 million viewers in just five days, Yoon's impact is undeniable, proving his statement was no exaggeration. Yoon Kyung-ho has truly emerged as a leading figure this year.
