Comedian Kim Min-kyung Captivates Viewers with Hilarious Mukbang and Heartfelt Stories on 'GabojaGO'

Comedian Kim Min-kyung delighted Saturday evening viewers with her humorous mukbang and candid storytelling.

On the recent episode of MBN's 'GabojaGO' aired on the 2nd, Kim Min-kyung joined Ahn Jung-hwan, Hong Hyun-hee, and the 'eating gods' squad including Jo Jjaezu, Lee Ho-chul, and Lee Dae-ho for a summer health food mukbang. Visiting Lee Dae-ho's home, Kim was surprised to find an empty pantry. When Ahn Jung-hwan misstated the weight of instant rice, she corrected him, saying, "The standard is 210g," showcasing her 'mukbang goddess' persona.

Kim, the daughter of a chueotang (loach soup) restaurant owner, prepared a nourishing meal featuring her mother's signature chueotang. Tasting the soup she once disliked due to its smell, Kim shared that she only discovered its taste through mukbang shows, which amused everyone as she mentioned her mother's disappointment.

Even after a hearty first round of eating, Kim's appetite remained insatiable. When a full Hong Hyun-hee began to wrap up, Kim humorously remarked, "Why are you saying goodbye like it's the end?" Her ever-active mukbang instincts led the group to a pork belly restaurant for a second round.

Kim also shared a humorous yet poignant dieting story from her school days. She recounted being mistaken for a thief by the police while sneaking food from her mother's store kitchen during a diet, leaving everyone in stitches.

Towards the end of the show, Kim opened up about her struggles. Despite becoming a public comedian, she endured a long period of 'zero income,' eventually seeking help from her sister. She touched viewers by recalling the moment she returned to her hometown in her own car, a testament to her perseverance for her dreams.
