Actor Kim Young-kwang has once again proven his unique presence.

Released on the 25th, the Netflix series 'Trigger' is a gun disaster action thriller set in South Korea, where illegal firearms of unknown origin are being delivered, leading to a series of gun-related incidents. The story follows two men who take up arms for their own reasons. Kim Young-kwang plays Moon Baek, the mysterious ally of Lee Do, portrayed by Kim Nam-gil.

Moon Baek is a free-spirited character who, by chance, meets Lee Do and forms an unpredictable partnership. Although he appears quirky and playful, he possesses exceptional athletic and driving skills, making him a character full of surprising charm. Kim Young-kwang skillfully portrays this character with a blend of wit and nonchalance, while also hinting at a deeper, enigmatic inner world. He effectively embodies the mysterious character by suggesting a hidden backstory beneath his cheerful exterior.

Previously, Kim Young-kwang showcased his ability to tackle diverse roles by playing a serial killer in the Netflix series 'Somebody' and an absolute villain in ENA's 'The Evil Chronicles'.

Kim Young-kwang, who has made a strong impression, will continue to captivate audiences in the upcoming KBS 2TV weekend mini-series 'Eunsoo's Good Day', set to premiere on September 20th. In this series, he is expected to portray a perfect young man with a dangerous side, promising a fresh transformation and heightening anticipation for his performance.
