Im Soo-jung shared, "I'm glad to be part of a project that still receives attention. It doesn't feel real." She reminisced, "About 20 years ago, 'MISA' had a cult following, but I couldn't grasp it then. I was bewildered, thinking, 'What's happening?' and wanted to hide when people praised it." However, she added, "I'm so happy that people love it again now," with a smile.

Im Soo-jung admitted, "I didn't know it would be remembered. Many people still emulate it." The rainbow sweater she wore in the drama became iconic, with almost everyone having tried it on. The image of her squatting in a rainbow sweater and UGG boots next to So Ji-sub was etched in viewers' minds. She revealed, "It wasn't a poster but a still from the set. We were squatting by a trash can waiting for the next scene, and it was used as a poster because it looked good."

The famous line from 'I'm Sorry, I Love You', "Do you want to eat? Or die with me?" left a strong impression on Im Soo-jung. She laughed, "I thought, 'What kind of line is this?'" She continued, "I didn't know Ji-sub oppa would deliver it with such emotion on set. I expected a basic tone from the script, but his emotional delivery made me feel sad. It conveyed that his character liked mine but couldn't express it due to circumstances."

Im Soo-jung recalled receiving the script for 'I'm Sorry, I Love You' and "crying my eyes out." She said, "The title itself, 'I'm Sorry, I Love You', was so different that I thought, 'What is this?'" She added, "The sad ending was planned from the start. We filmed the ending during the first shoot in Australia, knowing the conclusion. It was sad, but we all loved that ending. It showed that although they couldn't be together, they deeply loved each other. The viewers loved it too."
