Korean Singer Young Tak Opens Up About His Career, Family, and Personal Life on 'Baekban Journey'
During the episode aired on the 27th, Young Tak shared insights into his annual activities, stating, "In the first half of the year, I focus on creating content for YouTube, and in the second half, I work on album releases and embark on a nationwide concert tour."
Recently, Young Tak released a new song titled 'Please Give' (with Kim Yeon-ja), inspired by comedian Um Yong-soo's rapid-fire comedy catchphrase, "Please love, support, and understand."
When asked about any pre-performance rituals, Young Tak shared a little-known fact, "I wear white underwear during performances. Since I often wear white pants on stage, I also wear underwear with the phrase 'MUSIC IS MY LIFE' on the band."
He humorously explained his preference for white underwear, recounting a moment when fellow singer Jang Min-ho's red underwear was visible during a dramatic stage performance.
When Heo Young-man asked if he had written any songs inspired by his parents, Young Tak mentioned 'My Wife,' a song based on his father's words to his mother. He humorously noted that his fans are not fond of the song due to the word 'wife.'
At 43, Young Tak expressed his thoughts on marriage, noting how his friends are all married and raising children, as he affectionately interacted with a nearby baby.
