KBS2's 'Immortal Songs' to Air Special Tribute Episode Honoring Late Song Hae

'Immortal Songs' has been a leading music variety show for nearly 14 years, consistently ranking number one in its time slot. According to Nielsen Korea, the show recently achieved a 6.1% nationwide viewership rating for its 715th episode, marking its 127th consecutive week at the top of Saturday evening ratings.
The upcoming special episode, 'Immortal Songs - Song Hae Music Festival,' is drawing attention as it will feature six popular trot singers—Lim Young-woong, Young Tak, Lee Chan-won, Jeong Dong-won, Jang Min-ho, and Kim Hee-jae—who all had connections with Song Hae during their early careers through the 'National Singing Contest.' This episode previously garnered a 13.3% viewership rating, creating significant buzz.

Viewers can also look forward to seeing the youthful charm of Lee Chan-won, who currently serves as the show's MC, along with untold stories from the early careers of Lim Young-woong, Young Tak, Jeong Dong-won, Jang Min-ho, and Kim Hee-jae, who are now leading figures in the trot music scene.
Meanwhile, the 'Immortal Songs - Rock Festival in Ulsan' special, originally scheduled, will be postponed by a week and will air on August 2nd and August 9th at 6:05 PM.
