Joy Hyun Battles to Save Choo Young-woo from Possession in 'Gyeonwoo and Seonnyeo'

In the 13th episode of tvN's 'Gyeonwoo and Seonnyeo' (directed by Kim Yong-wan, Jung Woo-sik/written by Yang Ji-hoon) aired on the 22nd at 8:50 PM, the story unfolds with Bae Gyeon-woo (played by Choo Young-woo) being possessed by an evil spirit and Park Seong-ah (played by Joy Hyun) fighting to bring him back.
During the episode, the possessed Bae Gyeon-woo admits, "I know I did wrong, but I don't want to give it back," and adds, "The obvious way to get rid of the body is to kill Bae Gyeon-woo and turn me into an evil god."
Bae Gyeon-woo reveals, "I wasn't originally in that body; I was in an object. But as soon as they heard I took over the body, they asked me where the object was." He continues, "I didn't tell them and just changed the subject," admitting, "I spoke a bit harshly."
Bae Gyeon-woo insists, "I'm really not on their side anymore. I want to live and be human," and declares, "I have no intention of becoming an evil god. Do you understand my feelings now?" he says to Shin Mother (played by Kim Mi-kyung).

Shin Mother advises that they must protect the evil spirit, saying, "If the Grim Reaper catches him, Bae Gyeon-woo will be lost forever, so protecting the evil spirit is protecting Bae Gyeon-woo." Although Park Seong-ah asks if there's another way, Shin Mother explains, "He took over the body because he wanted to live as a human and be with you."
Shin Mother interprets this as a desire for love, asking, "Isn't our job as shamans to comfort them?" Park Seong-ah hesitates, saying, "But it takes too long." To this, Shin Mother responds, "Still, we must do what's right."
