He further elaborated, "For Park Hoon, I wanted a character who, despite being small and seemingly weak, could command a group with charisma. I envisioned a hidden warmth beneath a sharp exterior."

He added, "I want Gil Hae-yeon to become the second 'national mom' following Kim Hye-ja. She brings authenticity that draws you into the story."

'Trigger' is a gun disaster action thriller set in South Korea, a country known for its strict gun laws. The series follows the story of two men who take up arms for their own reasons amidst a surge of mysterious illegal firearms and ongoing gun incidents. It is set to premiere on the 25th.
