Kim Young-kwang Shares Insights on His Role in Netflix's 'Trigger'
Actor Kim Young-kwang shared his thoughts on joining the cast of 'Trigger'.

On the morning of the 22nd, a press conference for the Netflix series 'Trigger' was held at Hotel Naru in Mapo-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by director Kwon Oh-seung and actors Kim Nam-gil, Kim Young-kwang, Park Hoon, and Gil Hae-yeon.

During the event, Kim Young-kwang expressed, "The character Moon Baek was refreshing, and I was curious about how this free-spirited friend would change. As a character who questions people, I felt I had to take on this role."

He further explained, "I appear as a mysterious helper who suddenly shows up in front of Lee Do (played by Kim Nam-gil). It's a free-spirited character, and I'm excited to show a slightly different side later on."

Known for his introverted nature, Kim Young-kwang was asked about playing the extroverted Moon Baek. He responded, "Initially, it was burdensome, but as I continued, I found it better to act like an 'E'. So, I enjoyed it. At first, I wore comfortable clothes, but considering the fun elements and the flashy aspects of 'Trigger', I wore a variety of colorful outfits."

'Trigger' is a gun disaster action thriller set in South Korea, a country known for its strict gun control. The series follows the story of two men who take up arms for their own reasons amidst the chaos of illegal firearms being delivered and continuous gun incidents. It is set to premiere on the 25th.
