Rising Star Lee Jun-young Shares Real-Life Romance on 'Let's Eat Dinner Together'

Rising actor Lee Jun-young opened up about his real-life romance.

On the 17th episode of JTBC's variety show 'Let's Eat Dinner Together,' hosts Kim Hee-sun and Tak Jae-hoon were joined by Lee Jun-young, the breakout star of 2025. Lee took on the role of a one-day guide, introducing his favorite spots and 'hidden gems' in Yeonnam-dong.

Kim Hee-sun and Tak Jae-hoon, who successfully found a 'meal friend' in the previous Seongbuk-dong episode, shared their experiences from the first shoot. They confessed, "We didn't know we would actually ring doorbells without prior arrangements. It's completely real," and admitted to having nightmares about doorbells ever since.

In Yeonnam-dong, the 'neighborhood friend of the day' was none other than Lee Jun-young, who has risen to fame with mega-hit dramas 'Fooled You' and 'Weak Hero Class 2.' Lee appeared on 'Let's Eat Dinner Together' to solidify his title as 'JTBC's son.'

Known as a 'ramen enthusiast,' Lee Jun-young volunteered as a one-day guide, introducing popular eateries in Yeonnam-dong. He even held impromptu fan meetings along the way, proving his status as a rising star. Confident in his cooking skills, he expressed excitement about being a one-day chef, sparking interest in whether he could showcase culinary talents that would make people forget the 'Sungnyung controversy' of 'Youngbeom.'

Lee Jun-young, who has captivated viewers with his chilling performances that blur the lines between good and evil, worked up a sweat practicing doorbell ringing to win over the locals. His contrasting charm from his on-screen characters led Tak Jae-hoon to ask, "How do you date if you're this shy?" In response, Lee candidly shared his real-life dating experiences while gulping down a cold drink.
