Park Bo-gum has left audiences in shock with a cliffhanger hinting at blindness, just two episodes before the finale of 'Good Boy'. The show's ratings have surged to 6.9% in the metropolitan area and 6.6% nationwide, setting a new personal best and securing its spot as the top weekend mini-series.

In the 14th episode aired on the 13th, the reunited special investigation team launched a daring raid on the cartel's base at Geummun Central City, led by Min Joo-young (Oh Jung-se). During this intense battle, Ji Han-na (Kim So-hyun) uncovered the truth behind her father Ji Ho-chul's (Kim Young-sung) death through a digital camera left by Leo (Go Jun).

Min Joo-young had orchestrated the murder of smuggler Oh Bong-chan (Song Young-chang) and framed it as a mutual killing with the Russian mafia, Leo's father's associates. He manipulated Leo, driven by revenge, by falsely accusing Ji Ho-chul of being in cahoots with Oh Bong-chan. However, when Leo hesitated upon learning Ji Ho-chul was the officer who saved him as a child, Min Joo-young took matters into his own hands. Ji Ho-chul, sensing danger, had preemptively recorded evidence on a digital camera intended as a gift for his daughter, leading Ji Han-na to discover Min Joo-young as the true culprit.

With Yoon Dong-joo (Park Bo-gum) regaining consciousness, the special team, despite being outnumbered, managed to fend off Min Joo-young's henchmen with national-level action skills, but ultimately failed to capture him. The situation at Geummun Central City became more complicated with the arrival of police task forces and media reporters, making a discreet escape difficult. Ji Han-na recalled Min Joo-young receiving a call before their location was compromised, suspecting an internal mole within the police. The restoration of a discarded burner phone revealed the last caller as Detective Lee Jong-hoon (Han Sang-bin), who was found dead that night.

The special team deduced that Min Joo-young would not abandon the new drug 'Candy' and tracked illegal cargo trucks managed by Oh Jong-goo's (Jung Man-sik) company. Despite hitting dead ends, Yoon Dong-joo had a sudden realization. With over 500 police officers deployed under Commissioner Cho Pan-yeol's (Kim Eung-soo) special orders to capture Min Joo-young, and the commissioner residing at the police headquarters, Yoon Dong-joo speculated that Min Joo-young, a coward by nature, might be hiding in the safest place—the commissioner's office.

Caught off guard by Yoon Dong-joo's surprise attack, Min Joo-young attempted to escape by taking Commissioner Cho hostage. Ji Han-na fired blanks to thwart him, but Min Joo-young seized the chaos to flee to the underground parking lot, escaping in a pre-arranged vehicle through Inseong Market (Sung Ji-roo). As Yoon Dong-joo pursued the vehicle, Oh Jong-goo appeared, exploiting Yoon Dong-joo's punch-drunk syndrome by landing a precise blow to his temple.

Despite losing vision and staggering, Yoon Dong-joo fought back with instinctive punches, but his vision continued to darken, and his strikes flailed in the air. The episode revealed Yoon Dong-joo's deteriorating condition, suffering from severe boxing aftereffects, including nightly nausea and weakened legs. His doctor had already warned of potential brain hemorrhage and blindness. As the series nears its conclusion with only two episodes left, the dire crisis facing Yoon Dong-joo heightens the suspense, drawing attention to the finale of 'Good Boy'.
