Kim Hee-chul Declares No Marriage Due to Property Division Concerns on 'My Little Old Boy'
The episode, aired on the 29th, featured Lee Sang-min, Lee Dong-gun, and Kim Hee-chul meeting with divorce attorneys.
Upon the arrival of the three divorce lawyers, Park Eun-joo, Yang Na-rae, and Park Min-chul, Kim Hee-chul jokingly remarked, "Are you here to perform a ritual to make us divorce?" Park Min-chul responded, "Knowing how to divorce is essential to maintaining a happy marriage."
Kim Hee-chul inquired, "People marry for love, but what usually leads to divorce?" Yang Na-rae replied, "Statistically, personality differences top the list, but I believe infidelity is the main reason."
Lee Sang-min asked if losing contact after marriage could be grounds for divorce, mentioning Kim Hee-chul's tendency to be unreachable. Kim Hee-chul explained, "It's not intentional; I just need time alone."
Park Min-chul suggested, "Sharing location information after marriage is reasonable because it shows transparency." Kim Hee-chul recounted, "I installed a location tracking app at my ex-girlfriend's request, but I deleted it immediately when I saw how much it tracked my movements. I can't get married."
Kim Hee-chul emphasized that he is more generous than the frugal Kim Jong-kook. However, when asked, "What if your wife asks to split your assets after marriage?" he replied, "No, it's mine. I won't covet yours, so don't covet mine."
Meanwhile, regarding remarriage and divorce, Lee Sang-min noted, "The first divorce was easy because I didn't know better, but I was cautious with remarriage, so I won't divorce again." Park Min-chul added, "Divorcing after remarriage is the hardest, but subsequent divorces become easier."
