Cynthia Replaces Go Min-si in 'Grand Galaxy Hotel' Amidst School Bullying Controversy

On the 26th, Go Min-si's agency, Mystic Story, confirmed to TenAsia, "It is true that Go Min-si has decided not to participate in the drama." They explained, "Given that the school bullying issue has not been fully resolved, we decided it was best to address this matter first. After amicable discussions with the production team, we agreed on her departure."
Last month, Go Min-si was embroiled in a school bullying controversy. At the time, the production company, Imaginas, told TenAsia, "We trust the actress," and stated that there were no immediate changes to the casting. They added, "No concrete facts have been revealed, and since the production will proceed after 'Your Taste' and 'Sweet Part-time Job', there is still time to respond cautiously."

Born in 1998, Cynthia gained attention in 2022 when she was cast as the lead in 'The Witch Part 2. The Other One', overcoming a 1408:1 competition ratio. She recently starred in 'Someday Wise Resident Life', earning recognition for her talent and emerging as a rising star. Cynthia recently ended her exclusive contract with Andmark and announced a new beginning with Management Soop.

'Grand Galaxy Hotel' is scheduled to begin filming in the latter half of the year.
