Despite her refusal, Kim Tae-yi anonymously revealed the corruption on the company's message board, leading to suspicion falling on Yoo Mi-rae. As she struggled with her painful past, another crisis loomed.
Support came from an unexpected ally, Kim Soo-yeon, portrayed by Park Ye-young, a senior who had been a victim of workplace harassment. Overcome with guilt for abandoning Yoo Mi-rae, Kim Soo-yeon tearfully apologized.

Empowered by this encounter, Yoo Mi-rae began to fight back against Park Sang-young, played by Nam Yoon-ho. Accompanied by Yoo Mi-ji, they confronted him at the police station. Lawyer Lee Ho-soo, played by Park Jin-young, supported Yoo Mi-ji, stating, "Park Sang-young was previously accused of sexually harassing Yoo Mi-rae and even threatened her at her home, which should be considered more than just assault." When Park Sang-young claimed the charges were dropped and accused Yoo Mi-rae of false accusations, she bravely declared, "This time, there will be no withdrawal. I will sue for sexual harassment and defamation."
Meanwhile, Yoo Mi-ji faced an identity crisis after ending the life swap. Doubts plagued her about achieving success under her own name, rather than her sister's. Her partner, Lee Ho-soo, offered gentle encouragement, helping Yoo Mi-ji regain confidence and resolve to rebuild her life.
