Teen's Anger Spirals Out of Control on 'My Golden Kids'

On the October 20th episode of Channel A's 'My Golden Kids', the ongoing saga of a middle school boy unable to control his anger and displaying violent behavior was aired.
During the episode, the boy and his mother found their conversations escalating into chaos. Despite the boy's sincere apology, his mother, still upset, responded with a barrage of criticism instead of accepting it.
The boy, feeling hurt, questioned, "Why do you keep nagging when I've already admitted my mistake and apologized?" His mother, unyielding, retorted, "I keep repeating myself because you don't change. It's absurd," in a critical tone.

Dr. Oh Eun-young commented, "The boy's violence is indeed wrong. However, when his mother said, 'I won't talk to you anymore,' he perceived it as abandonment," adding, "The mother's tone is akin to interrogating a suspect, which needs to change."

Dr. Oh explained, "The boy feels there's no one in the world he can trust or rely on, leaving him in a state of emotional isolation."
