Lee Jong-suk Returns as a Stoic Lawyer in New Drama 'Seocho-dong'

Actor Lee Jong-suk, who is publicly dating IU, is set to return as a stoic character in the upcoming tvN weekend drama 'Seocho-dong', premiering on July 5th.

'Seocho-dong' follows the lives and growth of five associate lawyers working in the bustling legal district of Seocho-dong. The drama captures their daily struggles and triumphs as they navigate their careers.

The main characters include associate lawyers Ahn Joo-hyung (played by Lee Jong-suk), Kang Hee-ji (Moon Ga-young), Jo Chang-won (Kang Yoo-seok), Bae Moon-jung (Ryu Hye-young), and Ha Sang-gi (Im Sung-jae), who all work in different law firms located on various floors of the Hyungmin Building in Seocho-dong. Despite their hectic work lives, they come together during lunch to relieve stress and build camaraderie.

Ahn Joo-hyung, known for his rational approach, and the passionate Kang Hee-ji share a unique dynamic that piques interest. Ahn, who has been with the same firm for nine years, is highly skilled and respected, making him the go-to person for advice. Meanwhile, the newly minted lawyer Kang Hee-ji often seeks his guidance, intrigued by his expertise. Her confident and straightforward nature usually disarms people, but Ahn remains unaffected, leaving viewers curious if her persistence will eventually break through his defenses.

The chemistry among the five lawyers, dubbed 'Abeon Jeos', is also a highlight. Led by Bae Moon-jung, the group seamlessly coordinates their lunch outings, showcasing their strong bond and teamwork.
