Actor Ji Sung is making a comeback to MBC after 10 years.

Scheduled to premiere in the latter half of this year, MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Judge Lee Han Young' is a fantasy drama about justice and redemption. It follows the story of Lee Han Young, a corrupt judge who lived as a slave to a giant law firm, and travels back in time 10 years to make new choices and fight against evil. Ji Sung, who won the MBC Drama Award in 2015 for 'Kill Me, Heal Me,' is drawing attention with his return to MBC after a decade.

In the drama, Ji Sung plays the role of Lee Han Young, a judge at the Chungnam District Court. Once an insignificant judge, he becomes the son-in-law of a successful law firm CEO and uses his position for personal gain. Just as he decides to stop, he is transported back to his days as a solo judge 10 years ago and struggles to live a new life. With new choices and judgments, Ji Sung's performance is expected to deliver thrilling excitement to the audience.

Park Hee-soon takes on the role of Kang Shin-jin, the chief criminal judge at the Seoul Central District Court and a key figure in a shadow government led by a former president. Kang Shin-jin, who wields immense power and is unafraid of legal and judicial transactions, fiercely opposes Lee Han Young, adding intrigue to the plot. The acting showdown between Ji Sung and Park Hee-soon is highly anticipated.

Won Jin-ah plays the role of Kim Jin-ah, a prosecutor at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office. Driven by a single-minded determination to capture Jang Tae-sik of the S Group, she joins forces with Lee Han Young. However, as she observes the people Lee Han Young interacts with, she finds herself torn between trust and distrust. The unfolding story between the two characters, portrayed by Won Jin-ah, is eagerly awaited.

Directed by Lee Jae-jin, known for his stylish direction in 'The Banker,' 'The Spy Who Loved Me,' and 'Motel California,' along with director Park Mi-yeon and writer Kim Kwang-min, the drama is expected to captivate viewers with its gripping plot and immersive storytelling.

'Judge Lee Han Young' has begun filming and is set to air in the latter half of this year.
