Choo Young-woo and Cho Yi-hyun Reunite for New Drama 'Head Over Heels'

On the 17th, the online press conference for tvN's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Head Over Heels' was held. The event was attended by actors Cho Yi-hyun, Choo Young-woo, Cha Kang-yoon, Choo Ja-hyun, and director Kim Yong-wan.
'Head Over Heels' is based on a popular webtoon of the same name. It tells the story of a boy destined to die and an MZ generation shaman girl who tries to prevent it, exploring the unrestrained first love and romance of eighteen-year-olds. The production team promises a fresh and exciting story of high school shaman Park Seong-ah (played by Cho Yi-hyun) who defies fate for her first love, and Gyeonwoo (played by Choo Young-woo) who finds ordinary happiness through her.
Choo Young-woo expressed his feelings about reuniting with Cho Yi-hyun after their previous collaboration in the 2022 KBS 2TV drama 'School 2021'. He said, "It's only been three years, but Yi-hyun has become even more beautiful, and it seems like I'm the only one who has aged. She has grown a lot both in her acting and appearance. Back then, we didn't have much interaction, as the set was hectic, but this time we've become much closer. As the romance elements increased, our chemistry improved as the story progressed."

She added, "Since this is our second project together, there was a sense of stability and comfort. I felt very grateful to Young-woo. There are parts we need to adjust during filming, but having worked together before, we already knew each other's tendencies, so there was no need for ice-breaking time, which was great."
tvN's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Head Over Heels' is set to premiere on June 23rd at 8:50 PM.
