The buzz surrounding 'Good Boy' is centered around three main elements. First, the dynamic teamwork of a special task force composed of national medalists. Park Bo-gum, Kim So-hyun, Lee Sang-yi, Heo Sung-tae, and Tae Won-seok play former national athletes in boxing, shooting, fencing, wrestling, and discus throw, respectively, who have become police officers. Their unique action sequences, which incorporate their sports specialties into investigations, offer thrilling excitement and fresh entertainment. Additionally, the chemistry among the characters, including first loves, rivals, and supportive figures centered around Yoon Dong-joo, is receiving praise.
Park Bo-gum, who plays Yoon Dong-joo, continues to impress with his versatile acting. From his 'bulldozer moments' that scream 'crazy for justice' to his innocent and straightforward romance, and the hidden wounds and anger beneath the surface, he masterfully navigates a wide range of emotions, bringing depth to his character. His evolution in 'Good Boy' shines through his fearless action scenes and the emotional journey from laughter to tears and excitement.

Another focal point of the show's buzz is Oh Jung-se's portrayal of Min Joo-young. With his characteristic stoic expression and chilling tone, he gradually reveals the twisted nature of his character, who appears ordinary on the outside but harbors sinister intentions. The special task force uncovers the connection between TAE Corporation, involved in smuggling drug ingredients, and Mayor Noh Deok-kyu (played by Sung Ji-ru) and Min Joo-young. Initially believing that the mayor was protecting customs officer Min Joo-young, the team is shocked when Min Joo-young violently strikes Noh Deok-kyu with a nameplate, suggesting his dominance over the mayor. Oh Jung-se's portrayal of this cold and ruthless character adds to the show's intense suspense and captivates viewers.
As the sixth episode concluded with Min Joo-young delivering a powerful counterpunch just when the task force thought they had cornered him, anticipation builds for the fate of the special task force in the upcoming episodes. 'Good Boy' airs every Saturday at 10:40 PM and Sunday at 10:30 PM.
