Korean Musician Code Kunst Hilariously Admits to Being a 'Cooking Novice'

Korean musician Code Kunst recently showcased his self-proclaimed lack of cooking skills in a humorous way.

On the YouTube channel 'Yojung Jaehyung,' operated by Jung Jae-hyung, a video titled 'Everyone is Equal in Front of Cocoon's Wit and Eloquence... It's Funny... Truly Talented...' was uploaded.

In the video, Code Kunst tasted a dish prepared by Jung Jae-hyung and admitted, "I'm a cooking novice, so I have a lot of questions about cooking," adding, "These days, the only people I admire are those who can cook well." Jung Jae-hyung was surprised by this confession.

Code Kunst humorously remarked, "I've tried cooking at home a few times, but I find that eating ingredients as they are is tastier. You can appreciate all the advantages of the ingredients." Jung Jae-hyung laughed and explained, "Think of it as arranging music; it's like orchestrating."

Code Kunst curiously asked, "So, is it like arranging ingredients?" Jung Jae-hyung elaborated, "Many musicians are good at cooking because it's similar to arranging music. Maestro Chung Myung-whun often talks about this." He continued, "It's like music, blending instruments harmoniously. In classical music, for example, how you combine brass, woodwinds, and strings is often explained through cooking."

Upon hearing this, Code Kunst understood, saying, "Oh, so that's how you approach it." He humorously added, "I'm always in a rush when cooking, so I often fail. Sometimes I turn the heat up so high that the handle melts," drawing laughter.

Meanwhile, Code Kunst shared that his journey into music began as a hobby. Initially, he was captivated by the guitar during his military service and decided to pursue music seriously after being discharged.
