Yoo Jae-suk Revives Namgoong Min's 20-Year-Old Nickname on 'Anytime, Anywhere'
Yoo Jae-suk brings back Namgoong Min's nickname from 20 years ago.

In the 26th episode of SBS's variety show 'Anytime, Anywhere,' airing on the 17th, Namgoong Min, Jeon Yeo-bin, and Lee Seol join as 'Anytime Friends,' delivering infectious laughter around Yeouido.

During the episode, Yoo Jae-suk surprises Namgoong Min by recalling an old nickname. Yoo expresses his delight by saying, “Min, it's been a long time,” to which Namgoong Min responds, “You used to call me Gung-min. Please do it like before.” Yoo Jae-suk had misunderstood Namgoong Min's name, calling him 'Gung-min' instead of 'Min.' Yoo reminisces, “We've known each other since 'X-Man,' and I guess 'Gung-min' just stuck.” Namgoong Min laughs, saying, “It feels awkward when you call me Min.”

In his 27th year in the industry, Namgoong Min is amazed by his first appearance on an outdoor variety show. He turns into a mentor for Jeon Yeo-bin and Lee Seol, enthusiastically coaching them in the style of 'X-Man,' saying, “Come closer and talk.” However, during a game, he is shocked by an unexpected comment from the host.

Experiencing the raw nature of variety shows for the first time, Namgoong Min remarks, “Variety shows have become so free,” unable to hide his surprise. Yoo Jae-suk laughs heartily, noting, “Broadcasting has changed a lot, hasn't it?” as Namgoong Min transitions from a 'Variety X Generation' veteran to a 'Variety Newbie.'
