Reunion of Stars: Kim Hye-yoon and Lee Jae-wook's Charming Chemistry on 'Sisters' Slam Dunk 2'

In the 2019 MBC drama 'Extraordinary You', Lee Jae-wook played the fiancé of Kim Hye-yoon's character. Years later, the two reunited on a variety show, showcasing their delightful chemistry in real life.

On the October 15th episode of tvN's 'Sisters' Slam Dunk 2', Kim Hye-yoon appeared as a guest. Yum Jung-ah expressed her amazement, saying, "It's incredible to be cooking with Hye-yoon. She's turning thirty now. I wonder if Yesuh eventually got into Seoul National University's medical school?" Kim Hye-yoon replied confidently, "With Yesuh's brains, she would have made it. She's capable of anything," engaging in a relaxed conversation.

Lee Jae-wook chimed in, "I was the fiancé. Wasn't she your daughter in 'SKY Castle'?" Yum Jung-ah humorously responded, "Then you should call me mother-in-law," to which Lee Jae-wook laughed, "In the drama, things didn't work out between us." Yum Jung-ah added, "It's a relief it didn't work out. Otherwise, how would I face you?" keeping the atmosphere light-hearted.

Yum Jung-ah reminisced with Kim Hye-yoon, saying, "Your name is still saved as Yesuh in my phone," recalling the past. At the market, Lee Jae-wook playfully teased Kim Hye-yoon, "Why do you keep waking up? Just sleep," and showed his caring side by asking, "Is there anything you want in the shabu-shabu? Hye-yoon loves mushrooms."

Yum Jung-ah also joked, "Pick your favorite dried snacks. Now I can drink with Yesuh," adding to the playful banter. As Kim Hye-yoon lay down at the accommodation, Lee Jae-wook handed her a pillow, saying, "Get some rest; cooking isn't easy," showing his considerate nature.

Lee Jae-wook approached Kim Hye-yoon again, suggesting, "Sleep in my room. It'll get noisy later," to which Kim Hye-yoon playfully replied, "Thank you, I won't refuse."

Yum Jung-ah covered the sleeping Kim Hye-yoon with a blanket and returned to the living room. Park Jun-myeon praised, "She finished her last shoot yesterday. She's such a diligent and kind person." Yum Jung-ah expressed gratitude, "She made a special appearance in 'Cleaning Up' three years ago, and despite it being a cameo, she appeared multiple times."

She continued, "Hye-yoon is an excellent actress. During 'SKY Castle', she was a complete rookie, yet she nailed her role perfectly. She never messed up her lines, not a single NG," offering heartfelt praise.
