Romantic Sparks Fly Between Jang Hee-jin and Seo Jang-hoon on 'My Ugly Duckling'

On the latest episode of SBS's 'My Ugly Duckling,' actress Jang Hee-jin appeared as a special guest, creating a romantic atmosphere with Seo Jang-hoon, who is nine years her senior.

During the episode aired on the 15th, Jang Hee-jin's appearance was met with admiration from the mothers on the show, who commented on her youthful looks. Seo Jang-hoon expressed curiosity, saying, "I heard your mother's wish is for you to get married. She even arranges blind dates for you."

Jang Hee-jin shared, "I've only tried a blind date arranged by my mom once. It was with the son of a friend of my mom's friend, but it didn't go well," she sighed.

Jang Hee-jin confessed that the blind date was uncomfortable, saying, "You need to see the person themselves, but it felt like something was off, so it didn't work out." Shin Dong-yup empathized, "Blind dates arranged by parents can be quite burdensome."

When asked about her ideal type, Jang Hee-jin mentioned, "I like someone neat and good at financial management. I also like to keep things tidy, and since I'm not good at financial management, I find it attractive when a man is."

Shin Dong-yup pointed out Seo Jang-hoon as someone who fits her criteria and asked about her impression of him. Jang Hee-jin praised, "It's my first time meeting him today, and he has a great physique. He looks very young." Seo Jang-hoon couldn't hide his smile, saying, "Only my body is good."

Jang Hee-jin, who recently promised her manager to avoid bread due to her love for it, confessed, "When I eat bread, I get bloated, and it shows on screen." Seo Jang-hoon kindly advised, "What time do you wake up? If it's around 7 or 8, eating bread in the morning is fine."

Listening to their conversation, Shin Dong-yup teased, "Seo Jang-hoon is flirting." Seo Jang-hoon admitted, "I like everything besides bread. I only eat one meal a day, so I'm always hungry." When Jang Hee-jin asked why he eats only once a day, he replied, "If I eat more, I gain too much weight because I don't exercise."

At 42, Jang Hee-jin was asked if she insists on marrying someone who has never been married or if she's open to someone who has been divorced. She candidly shared, "Honestly, I never thought about it in my 30s. Now, I think someone who has been married once might be better. My mom says the same."

Jang Hee-jin emphasized, "My mom really likes Seo Jang-hoon," to which Seo Jang-hoon responded, "Thank you, mother," but added, "I'm worried this might cause trouble if it becomes news." Shin Dong-yup humorously advised, "You should always listen to your elders," bringing laughter to the set.
