Park Young-kyu has revealed his wife for the first time.

On the October 14th episode of KBS2's variety show 'Mr. House Husband Season 2', Park Young-kyu shared his newlywed-like marriage life, while Lee Min-woo opened up about his inner thoughts. The episode recorded a nationwide viewership rating of 6.2% according to Nielsen Korea, with a peak rating of 7.8% during a scene where Park Young-kyu and his wife faced a conflict after a trip to the supermarket. The show also saw a rise in the 2049 demographic ratings, proving its popularity.

Special guest Tsuki from the group Billlie appeared on the show, and MC Eun Ji-won celebrated his birthday with a party. Park Seo-jin performed '100-Year Life', wishing Eun Ji-won a long and healthy life.

Park Young-kyu's marriage with his wife, who is 25 years younger, was revealed for the first time on television. Park Young-kyu, who had kept his wife out of the public eye, decided to introduce her, recalling a recent health scare that led him to the emergency room. He confessed, "As I get older, being sick feels two or three times worse. I thought, 'Is it my time to go?'" Concerned about leaving his wife and daughter behind, he decided to reveal his wife on 'Mr. House Husband' as a final work.

Park Young-kyu's wife, appearing on camera for the first time, was so nervous that she took a long time getting ready, making Park Young-kyu wait. He laughed, saying, "She's not an easy woman," at her adorable preparations. As she made her first appearance, she turned back, saying, "I think I made a mistake. I'll come out again," prompting Park Young-kyu to jokingly shout, "Is this Miss Korea?"

After much deliberation, Park Young-kyu's wife finally appeared, showcasing her stunning beauty. However, her awkward eye contact with the camera and clumsy remarks brought laughter. MC Eun Ji-won and Baek Ji-young commented, "She's completely raw," and "A new character never seen on TV before," expressing interest in her unpredictable charm.

Park Young-kyu's wife shared about their marriage, "I am also remarried and have a child, so my parents hoped I would meet a mature and caring man." She humorously added, "But they didn't expect a 25-year age difference."

She continued, "My husband has had a tumultuous life. He's been married four times, and his son passed away. It's quite sad and pitiful," she explained. "When I see other participants on 'Mr. House Husband', they seem to have full support from their families." She added, "My husband only has sad stories, so I told him, 'Having a wife 25 years younger is something to boast about. You're a capable man,' and encouraged him. That's why we could appear together," she said, tearing up.

Later, Park Young-kyu and his wife went on a supermarket outing. "It's my first time going to the supermarket without a hat and mask," Park Young-kyu said, revealing his mixed feelings. Even inside the supermarket, he felt burdened by the attention and walked separately from his wife.

Eventually, Park Young-kyu's wife expressed her displeasure, asking, "Are you ignoring me? Not acknowledging me?" A fight ensued in the car on the way home, with Park Young-kyu's wife asking, "Are you ashamed of me?"

Caught off guard by her question, Park Young-kyu explained that he was cautious because he was worried about her discomfort with public attention, but her feelings remained hurt. Back home, Park Young-kyu tried to reconcile by being affectionate, and the couple showed their strong bond by cooking together and expressing their love.

The episode also revealed the recent status of Lee Min-woo, who has been less active lately. Contrary to his usual positive demeanor, Lee Min-woo appeared lethargic, admitting that he hasn't been getting much work. "The glamor of being an idol is fading. As you age, it's like retiring from a corporate job; the engine feels worn out," he confessed.

He continued, "I feel like I'm becoming obsolete. I think, 'I'm not done yet, I can still go on,' but honestly, my self-esteem has taken a hit." He added, "I'm not currently under contract with any company. Despite working hard, I feel empty, like only my body is left. I even went to a psychiatrist for six months and was prescribed medication. Being alone a lot, I feel trapped in solitude," he shared.

Seeing Lee Min-woo's downcast demeanor, his parents cautiously asked about his feelings. Known for his deep love for fans, Lee Min-woo revealed, "When I recently saw fans after a long time, my heart raced and I broke into a cold sweat," admitting to experiencing panic attacks.

He added, "It was an ironic feeling for me. My heart felt heavy and dizzy. I couldn't stay still," expressing the confusion and distress he felt despite his strong affection for fans.

As Lee Min-woo opened up about the stress of his current situation and the difficulty of facing fans, his parents shed tears. They warmly encouraged him, offering support and helping him regain his composure, reminding him of the importance of family.
