High School Student's Academic Rollercoaster: From Top Grades to Struggles on 'Teachers 2'

A high school sophomore who once achieved top grades in a prestigious school district is now facing challenges after transferring to a less competitive area, as featured on Channel A's 'Teachers 2'.

Airing on the 15th, 'Teachers 2' introduces a student who grew up in Daechi-dong, known as the 'heart of college entrance exams', but decided to leave the area in high school. The student's mother explained that despite having a good learning attitude recorded in the 'student record comprehensive screening', the competitive environment led to lower grades and a loss of confidence.

Before transferring, the student scored a 2nd grade in math and a 1st grade in English on mock exams, but their school grades were lower, with a 3rd grade in math and a 4th grade in English. Math expert Jung Seung-jae acknowledged the student's skills, noting traces of their Daechi-dong education.

However, the atmosphere shifted when discussing English. The student performed poorly on an English academy test, attributing it to poor health. This led to a heated exchange with the student's mother, who criticized the student for making excuses, culminating in a remark about the student's 8th-grade English score.

The unexpected grades left the 'T-Vengers' team, including Jung Seung-jae, Jo Jung-sik, Yoon Hye-jung, and Mimi Minoo, speechless. Yoon Hye-jung commented on the Korean score, suggesting it wasn't reflective of the student's abilities, while Jo Jung-sik speculated the student intentionally left questions unanswered.

The episode, airing at 7:50 PM, will explore the student's fluctuating academic performance and potential solutions on 'Teachers 2'.
