Amidst school bullying allegations against actress Go Min-si last month, the drama 'Your Taste,' in which she stars, concluded with its highest ratings ever.

The final episode of Genie TV's original series 'Your Taste' (planned by KT Studio Genie, produced by Shortcake, created by Han Jun-hee, written by Jung Soo-yoon, directed by Park Dan-hee), released on the 10th, left a lasting impression with an ending that melted everyone's hearts without winners or losers.

The finale aired on ENA achieved a nationwide rating of 3.8% and a metropolitan rating of 3.3% (according to Nielsen Korea), marking a new high. Notably, it also performed exceptionally well on Netflix, ranking 2nd globally in the non-English TV category for three consecutive weeks and remaining in the TOP 10 for four weeks. It entered the TOP 10 in 44 countries, including South Korea, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam, and ranked 1st in TV shows in 17 of those countries, showcasing its global success.

This achievement is a significant milestone for Genie TV and ENA's original content, proving that K-drama storytelling can resonate deeply with audiences across OTT and broadcast platforms. 'Your Taste' captured the hearts of viewers both domestically and internationally with its warm story of 'a meal with sincerity,' concluding on a successful note.

The competition between Jeongje and Moto, which began without Mo Yeon-joo (played by Go Min-si), did not proceed smoothly. Chairman Han (played by Oh Min-ae) blocked distribution channels, causing difficulties in sourcing ingredients, and Han Beom-woo (played by Kang Ha-neul), Jin Myeong-sook (played by Kim Shin-rok), and Shin Chun-seung (played by Yoo Soo-bin) had to handle everything from cooking to serving. Despite these challenges, they sought a breakthrough with French cuisine inspired by Korean recipes from Mo Yeon-joo.

After the influencer evaluations, Han Beom-woo, Jin Myeong-sook, and Shin Chun-seung presented a dish centered around French coq au vin to Chairman Han and special judge Mathieu. Jin Myeong-sook demonstrated finesse by adjusting the cooking level to suit the guests' ages, and Mo Yeon-joo's foolproof recipe was enough to satisfy Mathieu's palate.

Although 'Jeongje' led by a narrow margin in the evaluation, Chairman Han declared it a draw, leaving everyone confused. For Chairman Han, the purpose of this competition was not to determine the best three-star restaurant but to create a show that would capture attention until the next brand launch. As Han Beom-woo's patience reached its limit, Mo Yeon-joo appeared.

Mo Yeon-joo accepted Chairman Han's challenge for a rematch, proposing a proper showdown, which provoked Chairman Han. While Han Beom-woo was anxious about their intentions, Mo Yeon-joo began preparing a breakfast for Chairman Han. Instead of a lavish or rare dish, she served a simple home-cooked meal. Han Beom-woo and Han Seon-woo (played by Bae Na-ra) quickly realized the significance of the meal, which included shrimp pancakes and cabbage kimchi that Chairman Han had once made for children on a past broadcast.

Mo Yeon-joo sincerely explained to the displeased Chairman Han why she had to present a home-cooked meal. During her time at the temple, she learned that food should be made for the person eating it, and she wanted to offer a warm meal to the three people who were family by blood but more distant than strangers. Reluctantly picking up her spoon, Chairman Han, in a moment reminiscent of her past self, had to acknowledge Mo Yeon-joo's food and sincerity, allowing Mo Yeon-joo to protect 'Jeongje' from Chairman Han's grasp.

Mo Yeon-joo not only protected Jeongje but also forgave Han Beom-woo, who initially had impure intentions but grew to care for her and the restaurant. Han Beom-woo expressed his apology and affection with words of love, becoming a true family with Jin Myeong-sook and Shin Chun-seung.

Meanwhile, Jang Young-hye (played by Hong Hwa-yeon), who left 'Moto' to pursue her own cooking, faced challenges but remained hopeful and dedicated to her culinary journey. Lee Yoo-jin (played by Bae Yoo-ram) saw potential in Jang Young-hye and chose to accompany her.

The characters who devoted their lives to cooking and food left a touching impression as they persevered through misunderstandings and challenges, continuing on their paths. Behind them were actors who delivered outstanding performances from their respective positions.

Kang Ha-neul (as Han Beom-woo) and Go Min-si (as Mo Yeon-joo) anchored the drama with their stable and versatile acting and chemistry. Kim Shin-rok (as Jin Myeong-sook) and Yoo Soo-bin (as Shin Chun-seung) added flavor to 'Your Taste' with their solid and unique performances. Oh Min-ae (as Chairman Han) and Bae Na-ra (as Han Seon-woo) added depth, while Hong Hwa-yeon (as Jang Young-hye) and Bae Yoo-ram (as Lee Yoo-jin) delivered unforgettable performances, completing a flavorful drama.
