KBS2's 'Gag Concert' Reaches New Heights with Veteran and Newcomer Synergy

On the episode aired on the 1st, comedians Park Na-rae and Jang Do-yeon made headlines by returning to 'Gag Concert' after 13 years. The duo appeared in the 'Chatflix' segment, skillfully engaging with audience chats in an open chat room, delivering big laughs.
Their chemistry with the regular cast was seamless, as if they had been part of the show all along. Jang Do-yeon's adept ad-libs and physical comedy, combined with Park Na-rae's costume humor, kept the laughter rolling.
On the episode from the 25th of last month, comedian Kim Dae-hee, known for his frequent appearances on 'Gag Concert,' participated in the 'Battle of the Century' segment. Competing as part of the OB team in a showdown against the YB team, he showcased his veteran skills.

Ahn Young-mi, who debuted as a KBS comedian in 2004 and was a key figure during 'Gag Concert's' heyday, appeared in February's 'Defconn's Some How About' segment. Despite her segments being edited due to censorship, her signature 'R-rated comedy' and dynamic gestures elicited explosive reactions from the audience.
Her edited scenes were released on the 'Gag Concert' YouTube channel, garnering as much attention as the broadcast itself. Ahn Young-mi, the 'Queen of R-rated Comedy,' returned for two more appearances in March and May, even pushing boundaries during a Children's Day special.
Support from veteran comedians continues, with Park Jun-hyung, Park Hwi-soon, and Oh Ji-heon reuniting after 19 years for 'Fashion 7080,' reviving past glory with their impressive costume comedy. Yoo Se-yoon showcased his prehistoric acting skills in 'Australopithecus.'
The duo Kim Won-hoon and Jo Jin-se, known for their YouTube channel 'Short Box,' also brought their unique chemistry to the 'Gag Concert' stage, providing strong support.
The recurring appearances of 'Gag Concert' alumni are more than just guest spots; they reflect a deep affection and warm support for the show. Their involvement allows 'Gag Concert' to blend past and present, appealing to a diverse audience.
Meanwhile, this week's 'Gag Concert' will air on the 15th at 11:20 PM.
