Comedian Lee Se-young Opens Up About Dieting Side Effects and Stresses Healthy Weight Loss
Comedian Lee Se-young recently shared her experiences with the side effects of dieting.
On October 9, Lee Se-young uploaded a video titled 'Must-Have Coupang Diet Items for Guaranteed Weight Loss by Fitness Comedian(?) Lee Se-young' on her YouTube channel 'YPTV'. Previously, Lee had revealed her weight of 44kg on social media.

In the video, Lee began by saying, "I will introduce the diet must-haves that many of you have requested in the comments." She continued, "I've tried dieting in both unpleasant and pleasant ways. During the unpleasant dieting phase, I didn't take care of my health at all, avoiding supplements and simply starving or cutting out carbs entirely while only consuming protein."
Lee also discussed the side effects she experienced from dieting. She said, "I dieted so extremely at the time that the hair I lost still hasn't fully grown back. I also didn't have my period for about six months. I was so stressed by the obsession with losing weight that I thought I had a serious illness."

After recommending various diet foods, Lee emphasized the importance of healthy dieting. She advised, "If you lack nutrients while dieting, you'll lose your health. You'll lose hair and your metabolism will be a mess, so it's better to eat deliciously and diet healthily."
Meanwhile, Lee Se-young debuted as a comedian in 2011 as part of MBN's first open recruitment. She gained recognition through MBN's 'Comedy Republic' and appeared in tvN's 'SNL Korea' from seasons 5 to 8. She has also been active in tvN's 'Comedy Big League' and OnStyle's 'The Body Show 4'.
